This week, the A4AI team will be attending the AITEC Southern Africa ICT Summit, which takes place in Maputo, Mozambique on April 2nd and 3rd. We’ll be hosting a panel session entitled: “Affordable broadband access: How can government, private enterprise, academia and development partners work together to achieve lower costs?” and speakers will include representatives from A4AI, the World Bank, Google, Vodacom, The Science Innovation and Information and Communication Technology Research Institution, and others.
We hope to see many colleagues there – you can find out more about the event on AITEC’s website here: http://aitecafrica.com/event/view/115
For those who can’t make it to Maputo, you can follow our panel via #affordableinternet and we’ll post a full write up in the days to come.
