We’re excited to announce that Nigeria has renewed its partnership with A4AI. At today’s meeting of the A4AI-Nigeria Coalition, held at the 2017 Internet Freedom Forum in Lagos, Nigeria’s Honourable Minister of Communication Technology, Barrister Abdur-Raheem Adebayo Shittu, signed a new three-year Memorandum of Understanding with A4AI and the Web Foundation. In a keynote speech delivered at the meeting, the Minister highlighted the achievements of the A4AI-Nigeria Coalition to date, and signalled Nigeria’s continued commitment to ensuring open, affordable internet access for all Nigerians.
